General method of repair exterior.
It is important to note that prior to any repair procedures, Ontario One Call will be contacted to locate underground utilities before any digging takes place.
Exposure of cracks or other water infiltration will be identified. The foundation wall will be cleaned and the hole will be excavated to the footings.
Once exposed and prepped, the crack will be filled with hydraulic cement, followed by a rubberized membrane. Once the membrane has cured a drainage clad will be secured to the foundation wall.
New weeping tiles are installed if needed and covered with 3/4" clear stone. Once the waterproofing is complete the soil will be back-filled to completion.
Crack injection procedure.
The first step is to clear and clean the area surrounding the crack of debris and prep for bonding. Plastic T-Ports are applied spaced approximately 6-8 inches, starting from the bottom of the crack to the top. Epoxy is used to plaster and seal the crack throughout, as well as covering the T-Ports, forming a circle pattern. Once the epoxy has cured, polyurethane resin is injected through the T-Ports filling and sealing the crack permanently.
